Description

Strange Circles is one of my more unusual Art Doll brooches. She was inspired by the metal circles that decorate the hem of her gown, stainless steel paper clips no less! Used here in a much more interesting way they are an eye-catching element that works well with the body of her dress of small floral sequins and subtle grey beads.

Strange Circles is made from 100% cotton, polyfil stuffed, and painted with a pastel green colour using Jacquard textile paint. Her embellishments are metal clips, glass beads and acrylic sequins topped off by a moulded face made of polymer clay which is firmly adhered with fabric glue.

Each of my Art Doll brooches has a brooch pin back firmly sewn to the reverse which also allows her to be suspended from a ribbon and hung up to decorate your wall when she is not in use. I suggest this because several of my customers told me it's what they do! She arrives in his own organza gift bag ready to give as a gift, or for storage.
